Here at The PMG, we have always been proud of our involvement in the global Caribbean music scene, and none more so than at the moment!
It’s a very exciting time for us as the quality of the genres are forever rising, and with more projects on the horizon we wanted to take a minute to highlight what we are up to –
We have been working on the new project from double Grammy winner and diamond selling artist Shaggy. His new album “Wah Gwaan” has already racked up over 4 million streams within a week of release and the man himself is in the UK on tour with Sting as part of his Grammy winning “44/876” project and has been undertaking PMG arranged press activity.
Our consulting on The Kemist release “Body Can’t Lie” has been ongoing for the last few months, and we are just getting ready to release a stunning EP. “Body Can’t Lie” has now reached the summit of the Music Week Urban Chart – an incredible feat for this talented DJ/Producer and artist.
Speaking of The Kemist, we are hitting the road Tour Managing his performances as support on the Sean Paul UK tour next week.
Our sister company BrukOut consulted for the forthcoming Chase and Status album which features the 2019 celebration of Jungle (marking their15th anniversary in the genre) with a new generation of artists including Kabaka Pyramid with “Murder Music” – watch the video here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k28OOAlDYWw
This week our promo department has serviced the brand new single from Shenseea. It features Tyga and marks her debut major label release. “Blessed” is set to be a big smash – having already racked up over a million views in 24 hours, catch the video here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cg3myULHqiE
The focus continues – we are just about to go on tour with Grammy winner and festival headliner Damian Marley, who is set to hit Sheffield, Bournemouth, Bristol and new festival The Ends in Croydon.
Congratulations and thank you to all of our clients – Keep checking in with The PMG for the latest in music from the Caribbean.
