TAKE THE SQUARE TAKES OVER COVENTRY…

Working alongside Coventry City of Culture Trust, Take The Square is an urban youth music event celebrating the City of Culture 2021 and it took over Coventry this past Saturday. The first of a series of events which was curated and produced by The Playmaker Group.

Having sold 500 online free tickets, people came out to see some of the biggest names nationally and regionally who came to party which included Ms Banks, Osh, DJ Ace (BBC Radio 1Xtra), Keedz, Skatta and Sibby.

LEVIS MUSIC PROJECT IS A WRAP….

The Playmaker Group linked up with the good folks at Levis to design and deliver the Levi’s Music Project over the past 6 months with UK artist Loyle Carner and Warner Music.

The journey these young artists have been on has been incredible and the progression we’ve seen through all the sessions, masterclasses and seminars has been a joy to see. We’re very excited to see what’s next for all the artists.

Each of the artists will all perform at this years Liverpool SoundCity Festival across the 3 days alongside the likes of Loyle Carner, Slowthai, Aystar and Ms Banks. Big up everyone involved, it’s been a pleasure to be apart of it all.
